The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences(UAMS), is accepting applications for a full-time, non-invasive cardiology faculty position, at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. UAMS is the state’s only academic center with a rapidly growing Cardiovascular service line. The Cardiology Division consists of 15 staff Cardiologists, 17 fellows (12 general, 13 Interventional, 2 Electrophysiology fellows) and 9 advanced practice providers who provide state of the art cardiac services including structural Cardiology and advanced heart failure.

Practice highlights:
- Busy Cardiology inpatient ward and consult services
- Robust outpatient clinics
- Busy echocardiography laboratory with expertise in all forms of advanced echocardiography including 3D echo, strain and structural echocardiography
- Collaborative practice with Radiology to practice Nuclear Cardiology, cardiac CT and cardiac MRI
- Dedicated closed CVICU and a growing cardiac surgery program
Minimum requirements:
- Completion of an ACGME accredited Cardiology fellowship
- Board certified or board eligible in Cardiology
- COCATS level 2 training (or above) in all aspects of echocardiography and in Nuclear Cardiology. While not required, COCATS level 2 training in CT or MRI is preferred.
