The Department of Surgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, located in Little Rock, Arkansas, is seeking a board-eligible/certified academic vascular surgeon with expertise in both open and endovascular surgery.   An interest in clinical research and education is required.  

 

The successful candidate will be one of five full-time vascular surgeons with attending responsibilities as a large tertiary University Hospital and an adjacent Veterans Affairs Medical Center.  Both facilities have state-of-the-art endovascular operating rooms and ICAVL approved vascular laboratories.   The candidate will be heavily involved with resident and medical student education as well as 5+2 and 0+5 vascular surgery trainees.  Compensation and academic rank will commensurate with prior experience and academic productivity
